Meet Craig
Craig is a qualified Occupational Therapist, graduating with a BSc (Hons) from Canterbury Christ Church University in 2008, with a long-standing passion for specialising in paediatrics.
Since graduating, he has worked in senior roles within private SEND educational settings, leading therapeutic service delivery, development, and the supervision of multidisciplinary teams and Occupational Therapy interns. In 2012, Craig established his own practice, which has since expanded nationally and internationally.
Craig specialises in supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, including confidence, anxiety, autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), trauma, and attachment.
He works closely not only with the child, but also with the adults around them, helping everyone to understand the bigger picture. This includes recognising how environmental factors, such as room layout, unclear or non-explicit cues (i.e, a lack of visual supports), adult expectations, routines, and daily structures can impact a child’s ability to plan, organise, and manage tasks (often referred to as executive functioning).
Alongside this, Craig considers each child’s individual strengths and functional abilities, including their visual, motor, sensory, and physical skills, which all play an important role in how they access and carry out everyday activities. By looking at both the child and their environment together, he aims to support greater engagement, independence, and a sense of calm and confidence in daily life.
Craig is passionate about advocating for young people and working alongside them to nurture self-confidence, self-awareness, identity, and self-acceptance. He takes a neuro-affirming, co-regulatory approach, drawing on each young person’s existing interests, hobbies, and ambitions to shape meaningful and engaging therapeutic support.
Alongside his Occupational Therapy qualification, Craig has postgraduate training in psychotherapy, counselling, and sensory integration.
